1. Program Description
Program Name: MortgageCo Mortgage Application Updates
By opting in to MortgageCo's SMS/text messaging program, you consent to receive automated text messages from MortgageCo related to your mortgage application and inquiry. Message types include:
- Application status updates
- Appointment reminders
- Document request notifications
- Rate change alerts relevant to your mortgage inquiry
These messages are transactional and informational in nature, relating directly to your mortgage application or inquiry submitted through www.mortgageco.com.
2. Opt-In & Consent
By providing your phone number and clicking "Submit" on the MortgageCo application form, you consent to receive automated text messages from MortgageCo at the mobile number you provided.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may choose not to opt in and still use our website and services.
You represent that you are the wireless subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and have the authority to consent to receiving text messages at that number.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your application status and activity. You may receive up to 10 messages per month while your application is active.
Message volume depends on factors such as application stage, document requests, appointment scheduling, and rate changes relevant to your inquiry.
4. How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from MortgageCo.
After you send STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message: "MortgageCo: You have been unsubscribed and will receive no further messages. Reply HELP for help or email info@mrtgco.com."
No further text messages will be sent to your mobile number after you opt out, unless you re-opt in through the application form.
Opting out of SMS does not affect any other communications channels (email, phone) or your mortgage application status.

For help with our text messaging program, reply HELP to any message you receive from MortgageCo.
You will receive: "MortgageCo: For help, email info@mrtgco.com or call (855) 620-0238. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel."

6. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. MortgageCo does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates will apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.
MortgageCo is not responsible for any charges incurred by your wireless carrier in connection with text messages sent or received through this program.
7. Supported Carriers & Delivery
Our SMS program is supported by major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier. MortgageCo is not responsible for messages that are not received due to carrier issues, device incompatibility, or incorrect phone numbers.
8. Privacy & Data Sharing
We take your privacy seriously. Your mobile phone number and the information you provide through our application are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number to third parties for their marketing purposes via SMS/text messaging.
Your phone number is used solely for the purposes described in this SMS Terms page — to send you application-related updates, reminders, and notifications from MortgageCo.
9. Changes to These Terms
MortgageCo reserves the right to modify these SMS Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued participation in our SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
